This place was initially started for the senior citizens in the area but seeing the growing number of youngsters, the owner Joanita Figueiredo decided to cater to all individuals. Now, the spa is open every day from 10 AM to 8 PM with the last appointment taken at 7 pm.
Why should you try it?
Joanita started the spa after she found out that her blind students who are trained by her couldn’t get a job. This spa, which is located in Bandra, helps them earn a decent livelihood. By going here, you not only feel rejuvenated but also contribute in helping the visually impaired working there. You have two options- A full body massage or only a foot massage. For the full body massage, they will work on your legs for 40 min and your back, shoulders, neck and head for 20min. You can also opt for only legs, shoulders and neck if you feel like there is much strain in those regions.
How much and where can you find it?
Metta Reflexology is located on Hill Road, Bandra. If you want only a foot Reflexology then that will cost your only Rs.300 while a full body massage will cost you Rs.400. On the weekends it will cost you Rs.500. While the foot massage includes oil, the back, shoulder and neck is a dry massage. They do not advertise so you won’t find billboards posted around the area. The centre is located directly opposite Holy Family hospital next to Vijaya bank on the first floor.
