This restaurant in BKC is truly unique. where do we start, from the food to the ambience, Dishkayoon doesn’t disappoint. While the booze is a bit on the pricey side, they have some delicious treats starting at Rs 300 and a very friendly staff.

The Ambience

Let’s start with the decor. It’s a game of eye spy. Everything in this restaurant is completely random but in some way still works. There is a very rustic theme to it though. So what can you find in this place?
Well, Lampshades hanging upside down on the ceilings, a bathtub near the window, legos used to cover-up the side of the walls, an antique horse rocking chair, a Dr. Who style phone booth.
And if you’re bored of sitting on chairs, some tables even have swings around the table. They didn’t forget about the greenery though. You’ll spot fake plants hanging on the sides of the wall. It’s safe to say that this place is very Instagram friendly.

 The Food

Now let’s talk about the food. Everything we ordered was better than the other. While it excelled in taste, the only complaint we have is that it was a tad bit oily.
For starters, the tandoori chicken was filled with plenty of flavourful spices while the chicken biryani was a bit different from the regular biryani.
Unlike your traditional biryani, the rice and chicken were cooked separately and kept at the side but still equally yummy.
And if spicy isn’t your thing then you should go for the stuffed chicken filled with mushrooms served with a side of mashed potatoes, and vegetables.
You can wash it all down with a nice glass of sangria.
So what are you waiting for? Get your appetite and your camera and try this place out!
